Maktara
| Region Page |Mostly made up of sandy, rocky desert that used to be ocean floor and was thrust up by the Cataclysm. Giant sea monster skeletons and remains of corals are scattered about. A region of Maktara called Silacia also features enormous glass spires and the occasional cloud of noxious, toxic gas.
LOOT: Lemongrass Seeds, Dust, Tiger Beetle, Lemongrass, Drops
Ashki
| Region Page |Grassy, dry highlands that get cooler and snowier as you go further south. The peninsula is made up of a low mountain chain that is also relatively dry and grassy. Isolated towns and monasteries are scattered about, but it is mostly quiet and rural with the exception of Anghor Thom, the large port to the east known for pirates.
LOOT: Cabbage Seeds, Threadbare Fabric, Praying Mantis, Cabbage, Drops, Shipping Crate, Jade Bracelet/Wooden Nickel
Inor
| Region Page |Mostly flat grasslands with peaceful farming villages. There are expansive fields of grains and other crops tended by Niravar and human farmers alike. Distant hills sit to the north where Sarthia is located, along with a large, meandering river that marks Inor’s northern border.
LOOT: Purple Tomato Seeds, Shattered Wood, Ladybug, Purple Tomatoes, Drops, Shipping Crate, Butterfly Brooch, Butterfly Wood Carving
Drakhan
| Region Page |Snowy a lot of the time, and has one big city - Kald. It can be beautiful during the summer, but it's known for extremely harsh winters, which test even the hardiest of Niravar. There are large mountains and glaciers to the north, with smaller hills elsewhere that are home to patches of boreal forest, surrounded by tundra. Small pockets of civilization are connected by lonely railroads. Heavy snow can be found coating the land almost year round.
LOOT: Carrots Seeds, Shattered Wood, Herakles Beetle, Carrots, Drops, Shipping Crate
Urus
| Region Page |Tall, sparsely-populated fog covered mountains. Mostly covered in misty forests with the occasional mining town nestled between the towering mountains where residents hide from the chilly winters. The climate is temperate with lots of rainfall, which feeds an expansive, fast-flowing river system.
LOOT: Ginger Seeds, Threadbare Fabric, Tiger Beetle, Ginger Root, Drops, Shipping Crate
Toneru Islands
| Region Page |Mysterious, rocky islands filled with giant redwood trees. Toneru Islands are a scarcely populated archipelago filled with Aether Pools surrounded by dense groves and old stone fortresses left to be reclaimed by nature. Large fauna roams the landscape and the surrounding waters alike, perhaps influenced by the many Aether Pools dotting the area.
LOOT: Fairy Sprout Seeds, Shattered Wood, Herakles Beetle, Fairy Sprouts, Twocan
Grandiaga
| Region Page |A mix of temperate forests, grassy hills, and flowery meadows. It has mild summers and snowy winters. Its capital, Brillia, is a mid-sized city with an ornate palace that sits by a lake. The area around Brillia is richly decorated with flowers, intricate banners, and flags.
LOOT: Catnip Seeds, Threadbare Fabric, Bee, Catnip, Honey, Drops, Shipping Crate
Djama
| Region Page |Warm, sandy coasts and dry, dusty interior transition to grasslands towards Urus. There are lots of palm trees, and the land is peppered with blocky architecture covered in colorful cloths and tapestries. There is one large river that, while filled with crocogators, provides a means of travel and irrigation. Bustling with traders, it is a melting pot of culture.
LOOT: Purple Tomato Seeds, Dust, Ladybug, Purple Tomatoes, Twocan, Shipping Crate
Isiar
| Ref #1 | Ref #2 | Ref #3 | Ref #4 | Ref #5 |
A dark atmosphere permeates all of Isiar. Most of the land is a dense jungle of dark, oily looking plants and thorny vines coupled with other plants that are either blackened, dead, or want to eat you. Infested with Void Reapers and other creepy, spiny animals. Strange-looking ruins scattered about - remnants of the old Niravar culture from before the Cataclysm.
LOOT: Witch Hazel Seeds, Shattered Wood, Praying Mantis, Witch Hazel, Drops, Scars
Galterel Archipelago
Ref #1 | Ref #2 | Ref #3 | Ref #4 |
Kirlisle Glittereef is a fantastical island resembling a canyon, sunken deep below sea level, with the water from the surrounding sea flowing over the cliffs lining its edges and creating massive rainbow-colored waterfalls. True to its name, a large part of the island consists of what seems to be a coral reef, with gigantic fish swimming in the air around it.
LOOT: Blooming Shell (guaranteed), Catnip Seeds, Shattered Wood, Honey, Sugar Moth, Drops
| Ref #1 | Ref #2 | Ref #3 | Ref #4 |
Voxis Grotto seems to be trapped in a perpetual, light layer of fog, making it difficult to see the terrain. In some parts of the island, the fog grows so dense it is impossible to see a single step ahead. Further inland, one may find even more unnatural views, such as buildings and other structures floating upside down, or empty fields with strange, loud sounds echoing through them.
LOOT: Spectral Walnut (guaranteed), Glowing Mushrooms, Witch Hazel Seeds, Dust, Weevil, Drops
| Ref #1 | Ref #2 | Ref #3 | Ref #4 |
Tlasyn Firelands is among the most dangerous regions in the archipelago, with vents spouting multi-colored lava dotting the ground alongside an active volcano located further inland. The island, however, offers a multitude of fantastical sights as well, such as pools of sulfuric mud lined with colorful, glimmering minerals, or large, abandoned cathedrals sinking into lava. Furthermore, if one ventures far inland, they may have a chance to spot the vivid blue butterflies which call the island home.
LOOT: Cinder Twig (guaranteed), Cabbage Seeds, Drops, Firefly, Metal Scrap, Threadbare Fabric
Sarthia
Region PageDense jungle with an immense river cutting through. Parts of the jungle are cleared away to make room for cities and towns. Sarthia's capital, Hanor, is a hub of trade. People and Niravar from all over Terran gather here to exchange and sell their wares.
LOOT: Potato Seeds, Threadbare Fabric, Weevil, Potatoes, Drops, Shipping Crate, Crushed Flowers/Half-Eaten Sandwich
Sorcas Islands
| Region Page |Black, rocky islands of long forgotten volcanic origins. There are more Aether Pools here than anywhere else in Terran, forming in circular depressions between crags of sharp volcanic rock. Blueish gems - precursors to Drops - dot the shores, scattered and twinkling on the black sand beaches. Since the great ice drake Vynnfurth claimed the area, the landscape has remained frozen, with ice-blasted vegetation and destroyed villages. Snow and frost can be found coating the once temperate beaches.
LOOT: Lemongrass Seeds, Dust, Bee, Lemongrass, Honey, Drops
