Boons DatabaseDuring your Niravar's adventures in Terran, they may pick up a number of abilities or items that will make them more effective in certain challenges the planet has to offer. This page covers three types of Boons: Skills, Gear, and Consumables.
While certain Consumables may be applied multiple times to a singular roll (more on that below), Gear and Skills can typically only be applied once. However, they may instead combine their effects, e.g. a piece of Gear and a Skill could both be applied to the same roll even if they share an effect. |

Skills
- A Niravar can have up to 5 skills equipped.
- In some cases these skills can be passed onto that Niravar's offspring. Skills are often obtained through chance in different activities.
- A Niravar may only have a single copy of a skill applied. Even if multiple copies of the same skill live in your item storage, upon application, all copies are consumed.
- Skills may be removed freely from a Niravar but are deleted upon removal.
25% chance to return with an extra Questing item.
There is a 8% chance of obtaining this skill on each Questing entry.
Adds a 25% chance for an extra cub in Aether Invocation.
There is a 8% chance of obtaining this skill on each Invocation attempt.
Adds a +1 to your Niravar's rolls in the Ardorsurge.
Obtained in the Storyline System.
This skill can be improved in the Storyline System to increase the bonus to +3.
Adds an additional 5% success chance on each Questing entry.
There is a 8% chance of obtaining this skill on each Questing entry.
Gives a 10% chance of finding 100 Drops in any activity roll.
Obtained in the Storyline System.
This skill can be improved in the Storyline System to increase the chance to 20%.
Additional 20% chance to find a familiar in any activity where familiars can be found.
Obtained in the Storyline System.
In Aether Invocation, this skill can be used to apply a +3% boost to the dominant pass rate of one of the Niravar's uncommon markings of your choosing.
Obtained in Events and Tasks of Divinity.
This skill can be improved on special occasions to increase the boost to +6%.
Increases the chance of finding an extra seed and plant in each Gardening entry.
There is a 8% chance of receiving the Master Gardener prompt in each Gardening entry, which must be completed before this skill is awarded.
When a Sovereign ranked Niravar is paired with up to 2 lower ranked Nir in an activity, the lower ranked Nir return with +1 extra item each.
Obtained by having the Niravar reach Sovereign rank.
25% chance to return with an extra Hunting item.
There is an 8% chance of obtaining this skill on each Hunting entry.
Gives a 20% chance of refunding one ingredient per crafting request.
Obtained in the Storyline System.
In Aether Invocation, this skill can be used to apply a +3% boost to the dominant pass rate of one of the Niravar's common markings of your choosing.
Obtained in the Storyline System.
This skill can be improved in the Storyline System to increase the boost to +6%.
Gives a 10% chance to duplicate a single crafted item on a given crafting request.
There is a 8% chance of obtaining this skill on each Crafting request.
Gear & Familiars
Here you can see an overview of all gear and familiars that provide boons in our different activities. The only activity not listed is Bug Racing, which has its separate page listing all the bugs and their stats on top of their buffs. To avoid duplicating this info, we are not including the bugs on this page as well, especially since most of them provide no special bonus besides different stats and course preferences.
Familiars can also be obtained at random through the Familiar Crate item. Bugs also have a 25% chance of appearing in Gardening entries. Magic-Sensitive - Upon coming into contact with an item that contains a sufficient concentration of magic energy, this familiar can be evolved into a more powerful version of itself. You can't trap it in a ball, though. |
Gear encompasses both familiars and items that are applied to a Niravar.
