Burnt must appear at minimum as three stripes in the mane.
Recessive Burnt (nBr) may cover up to 70% of the mane, leaving 30% of the normal mane showing.
Dominant Burnt (BrBr) may turn the entire mane dark.

Examples
Dominant Burnt allows a mane to appear fully black or dark brown.

Recessive Burnt will only cover the mane partially, leaving 30% of the original colour visible. The coverage is shared, meaning that should Burnt appear on a geno with multiple areas where it can show, it can completely cover some of them as long as one remains partially uncovered.
